Blessings Bags: Hope to Hold For Life

Many of the abused and neglected children that are removed from their homes will then be bounced from location to location often with their personal belongings in garbage bags slung over their shoulders. Place of Hope's Blessings Bags, help aide these precious children in these unfortunate circumstances. Each duffle bag is filled with items a child needs and loves including a Bible, toy, blanket, and toiletries. They also receive a brand new bicycle! These simple items become the belongings of these children that they can take with them wherever they go.

We have experienced this sad reality of children coming to Place of Hope with garbage bags or nothing at all. This is especially true for the children at our Seven Stars Emergency Shelter. However, thanks to the Blessings Bags, the children receive their very own duffle bag packed full of good stuff. The children at Place of Hope are also grateful that when they move, they are able to transport their belongings in a nice, new Blessings Bag.
