Fundraise for Hope

About Place of Hope’s Champions for Children

Champions for Children candidates across South Florida compete to raise the most funds in honor of a local foster youth who have been victims to child abuse, neglect, homelessness, exploitation and human trafficking. Every dollar raised helps provide hope for the hopeless, a home for the homeless and healing for the hurting. These candidates are encouraged to use their talents, contacts and creativity to raise funds to help advance Place of Hope’s mission of “placing hope in the life of a child.” Each participant will receive their own personal fundraising link where friends, family and colleagues can make a donation.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • On average, 100 children a month are removed from their homes in Palm Beach County due to abuse and neglect.
  • When a child ages out of the foster care system at 18, without continued support, 60% of them will become incarcerated or pregnant within 12-18 months.

Place of Hope is a faith-based, state-licensed organization focused on providing programs and services to end the cycles of abuse, neglect, homelessness and human trafficking. The organization offers support to children, youth and families in need. They are the largest, most diverse, residential children and families organization in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. The goal is to help those they serve find healing and restoration, which leads to a successful future.
