Venture X- Rosemary Square Invisible Screening

FreeOctober 24th is United Nations Day.
In recognition of this day, and in partnership with Edward Jones, Venture X will be hosting a screening of Invisible courtesy of Place of Hope.
Invisible is a documentary exposing the epidemic of human trafficking happening right here in our own backyards. Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. Florida ranks 3rd in the nation for reported cases of human trafficking.
Place of Hope is the largest faith-based family-style, state-licensed children’s organization in the region. Children and families can find dignity, guidance and hope through various programs and efforts at Place of Hope – Placing Hope in a Child’s Future. From foster care, to post-care programs, their mission to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Refreshments will be served by sponsors, Scott Doyno from Edward Jones, SEO.co, and Venture X – Rosemary Square.

7:00 PM – Event Commencement
7:15 – 7:40 PM – Feature Presentation: Invisible
7:40 – 8:00 PM – Place of Hope Presentation
8:00 – 8:30 PM – Q & A
8:30 – 9:00 PM – Post-Presentation Networking and Event Raffle, including refreshments
Place of Hope will also be collecting food donations for their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Please feel welcome to bring one of the items listed on the donation form:

NOTE: This is a free event. We politely ask that all attendees bring a $20 donation. Our goal is to raise $2000 to benefit the work and mission of PLACE OF HOPE. 100% of all proceeds will go directly toward meeting this goal.
