Empowering Lifelong Health, Confidence, and Independence in Palm Beach

Where youth thrives through tailored wellness programs, life skills training, and active community living

The Barriers to Lifelong Health and Confidence

Too many children and youth face barriers to living healthy, active lives—whether due to trauma, lack of resources, or limited opportunities to develop life skills. Without the right support, they may struggle to build the confidence, resilience, and independence they need to succeed.

A teenage boy with light brown hair rests his chin on his hands and looks thoughtfully at his reflection in a bathroom mirror. The tiled wall is visible in the background, evoking the quiet hope fostered by charities for children.
Four children play basketball outdoors on a sunny day, celebrating teamwork and joy—moments made possible by a nonprofit for children. One child in blue jumps to shoot as others cheer, with trees and a fence in the background.

A Holistic Approach to Health and Wellness

At Place of Hope, we provide comprehensive health and wellness programs that empower every child and youth in our care to thrive.

Through fully equipped gyms, multi-purpose studios, basketball courts, and supportive staff, we foster physical, emotional, and social well-being. Our life skills training—covering cooking, nutrition, self-care, and emotional health—helps children and youth build habits that last a lifetime. And our Summer Initiatives open doors to unforgettable experiences that build teamwork, leadership, and resilience.

Visiting Place of Hope gave me goosebumps. The buildings, parents, and kids melt away the stereotypes about foster care. It is no wonder they are nationally recognized as one of the best.
