Heroes for Hope

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month

Throughout April, we support our community’s most vulnerable population, our children, by honoring them with a pinwheel – the national symbol for the great childhoods all children deserve.

Bringing awareness to child abuse in our region is a need that cannot be ignored. Last year, in our region, over 1,682 children were removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Place of Hope offers comprehensive services designed to end the cycle of abuse and neglect to 300 children and youth on a daily basis. We aim to provide programs that assist our kids in finding healing and restoration, which leads to a successful adulthood.

Join us in preventing future abuse

We are asking every business, school, social group and family to “Be the Hero”. On April 28th show your support for this vulnerable population by wearing a superhero shirt and donate $5 to support the cause! #BetheHero2017

You can become a Hero of Hope and make a difference in a child’s life.
