Place of Hope offers comprehensive services designed to end the cycle of abuse and neglect. Our aim is to provide programs that assist our children and youth in finding healing and restoration, which leads to successful adulthood.

iconFamily-Style Foster Care
We provide loving homes to children who have suffered unimaginable abuse, with an emphasis on keeping sibling groups together. Whether in one of our family cottages, a traditional foster home or one of our emergency assessment centers, our children receive safety, love, case management, mentoring, mental and physical health treatment, educational services and essential life-skills.

icon 2Enrichment
We provide our children and youth with the experiences and life-skills needed to be successful, thriving members of the community. Proper schooling combined with tutoring, work training, college counseling and positive support provides a strong educational foundation. Healthy living education combined with fitness and nutritional training establishes strong lifelong habits.

Human Trafficking Recovery
Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. We are dedicated to providing safety and healthy transitions for victims of domestic minor sex trafficking and labor trafficking throughout all of our programs.

Post Foster Care – Transitional Housing
Homeless Support – Supportive Housing
We provide a supportive and proactive living and learning environment for youth who have aged out of the foster care system, as well as homeless families and youth. In addition to a safe home, we provide comprehensive medical care for young mothers and mothers-to-be. Our goal is to help this vulnerable population bridge into successful adulthood.

Community Engagement
Annually, our community raises 60% of the support required to care daily for Place of Hope’s children. We also have many partner agencies in the community, such as Habitat for Humanity, Little Smiles, Big Heart Brigade, Legal Aid Society and more. We are thankful for a community that is engaged with us in protecting the next generation.

Social Enterprise
Our social enterprise businesses (The Collective) allow the community to engage by donating high-quality items that are sold to benefit the children and youth in our care, as well as employment opportunities for our youth – learning valuable life-skills, on-the-job-training and coaching.

Place of Hope has served nearly 10,000 lives in 15 years. On a daily basis, we care for 300 foster children and youth, who have experienced unimaginable hurt. If no one takes action, these children will continue to live a life filled with abuse and neglect.

Our One Life Campaign empowers the community to take action. As in all families, our children have definite needs throughout the year. The number of children being removed from their homes is increasing every day. As the demand for quality family care intensifies, so does our need for your support. Together, we will meet the physical, emotional and developmental needs of the children and youth we have in our care each day.

Every gift that you give will be matched (on a dollar-for-dollar basis) by our One Life Matching Fund Sponsors.
