Independent Living with Affordable Transitional Housing
Place of Hope at the Leighan and David Rinker Campus, our Donna’s Place at The Villages, and our Bender Family Campus provide Independent Living (IL) programming along with affordable transitional, safe and stable housing for youth in the Villages of Hope Independent Living program. Youth aging out of the foster care system, post-18 community (homeless) youth, and single mothers with dependent children can apply to the IL program.
The program offers youth residential support and essential life-skills, development classes, and helps ensures the well-being of young adults in crisis in our community by meeting their primary need of safe and affordable housing along with resources and accountability to help youth live with dignity, stability and transition to healthy independence.
Place of Hope provides safe and affordable housing with independent living programs for single mothers with dependent children that are in transition or crisis. This provides a bridge into healthy independence while meeting physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and educational needs.
